What You Can Do In A Jeep That You Can’t Do In A Car

    Last updated 1 year ago

For some car buyers, there’s no two ways around it: a new Jeep is the way to go. There are many things a Jeep can do that a regular car just can’t, and this makes buying a Jeep an enticing prospect.

But how do you know if a new Jeep is right for you?

Easy, look at some of the advantages a new Jeep has over a regular car, and decide for yourself.  Here are a few things you can do in a Jeep that you can’t do in a car:

    • Drive Off-Road: In a car, you’re tied to paved surfaces, but in a Jeep, you can ride off-road. If you want a car to travel through rough terrain, swamps, and slippery surfaces, a new Jeep is the way to go. If you’re an outdoor enthusiast, you should buy Jeep.
    • Tow: Most cars don’t have the power or the four wheel drive capacity to tow. With a Jeep, you get a few thousand pounds of towing capacity. If your friend or loved one is ever stuck in a jam, you can come through with your new Jeep.
    • Ground Clearance: With a new Jeep, you’ll be able to go over obstacles that other cars can’t. You’ll be able to clear logs, rocks, and uneven surfaces with no sweat.

For more of the advantages to owning a Jeep, visit your local Jeep dealership.

Quick Car Fixes You Can Easily Do Yourself

    Last updated 1 year ago

Car maintenance is critical to your personal safety and the long-term durability of your car. You don’t want to skimp on oil changes or replacing those brake pads, you want to keep your new Chrysler or new Jeep running like the day you bought it.

It’s always a good idea to keep your new Jeep or New Chrysler in shape and up to speed. Here are a few car fixes you, the responsible car owner, can easily do yourself:

    • Changing Wiper Blades: You can do this one on your own. If your windshield wipers leave streaks, or don’t wipe away the rain, you should replace them. Go to an auto parts store and buy the correct wipers.

To install, pull the wiper arm so it no longer rests on the windshield and dislodge the old wiper. Replace the old wiper with the new one, and gently lower the wiper arm. Test it out a few times to make sure everything is working correctly.

    • Replacing A Headlight: You don’t want your car to look like it’s blinking. If a headlight blows, it’s easy to replace it yourself.  To replace a headlight, pop open the hood and locate the bulb holder. Remove the wiring harness and pull out the old bulb. Place the new bulb where the old bulb rested and reinsert the wiring harness. Test it out to make sure everything works right.
    • Replacing a Blown Fuse: Blown fuses are another easy fix. Use the owner’s manual to find the fuse box. Locate the blown fuse and pop it out. Buy a replacement from a hardware store and replace it. It should snap right into place.

For more complicated repairs, be sure to go into a repair shop. Some things should be left to professionals.
